TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTING THE ACU.E8 CLINIC

1)

Before the clinic can be rented to you we will need to see proof of your professional qualifications, membership to a professional body, as well as proof of your insurance.

2)

We offer the ACU.E8 clinic either ad-hoc or rolling contracts with an initial commitment of just two months and then you are free to terminate the licence agreement at any point with one month's notice. For rolling contracts, a one month deposit is required.

3)

For ad-hoc bookings, a one off registration fee of £30 is required before you can hire the ACU.E8 clinic and a £15 deposit for the key in case of loss or damage to the clinic.

4)

There is a key within a key safe to let you into the clinic, the code will be given to you upon the return of a signed rental agreement. The key must be returned to the key safe at the end of each session that has been paid for.

5)

All room hire charges are fully inclusive.

6)

Rolling contract fees are payable monthly in advance by direct debit.

7)

Rolling contract agreements can be cancelled by one month's notice by either party after the first two months.

8)

The ACU.E8 clinic must only be used during the hours that have been agreed and booked. Please double check that any online bookings have been made correctly as though we will try our best to rectify problems alternative sessions may not be available to book.

9)

Please vacate ACU.E8 as soon as your pre-paid slot has finished. Other therapists may be using the clinic and therefore running over the allocated time slot is not permitted.

10)

You are in charge of bringing your own equipment and linens if booking on an ad-hoc basis. Our mezzanine storage is for our rolling contract renters. We do not accept any liability for person or professional items left on the premises if you are renting the clinic on an ad-hoc basis.

11)

You are responsible for the therapy room and its content during your sessions. Any damage that occurs during this time must be brought to our clinic manager (Joanna) attention and payment for the damage must be received within 30 days of billing.

12)

The ACU.E8 clinic must be left in a safe, clean and tidy condition so that other therapists can use it immediately after you. If any incidents or accidents occur that require attention, please report to our clinic manager immediately.

13)

This contract does not create a partnership agreement. You do not have the authority to enter into contracts on behalf of ACU.E8 Clinic Space. It is forbidden to sublet the clinic or use it for any other purpose other than what has been agreed.

14)

You are not permitted to make a copy of the clinic key and you are not permitted to give your keys to a third party.

15)

Ad-hoc bookings can be made via the on-line booking system in 2, 3 or 5 hour slots. Failure to make payments as agreed may result in the termination of the contract between ACU.E8 Clinic Space and yourself and being prevented from renting the clinic in the future.

16)

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy for ad-hoc bookings and payment for the room and this will need to be paid for in full whether the room is occupied or not. We recommend that you agree similar terms with your clients. Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel booking up to seven working days from when the booking is confirmed. Cancellations must be in writing to acu.e8.hackney@gmail.com. However, for bookings made less than seven working days in advance, unless we agree otherwise in writing, you will not be able to cancel the booking, we may offer to transfer the date if possible and our normal cancellation policy of 24 hours applies.

17)

Ad hoc bookings must be taken on a 2, 3 or 5 hour basis, unless agreed otherwise.

18)

You must switch off the light and other electronic equipment (please leave the fridge on) when leaving the clinic and ensure that the door is locked.
